REGULAR MEMBERSHIP

Option #1 --
Pay intiation fees in full by 11/1/2009
Join now and receive a $3,000 discount on the Regular Initiation Fee. If you pay $19,500 by November 1, 2009, we will include your dues for the 2010 golf season ($4500) as well as 8 free guest passes ($680 value). If you pay immediatley, we will also include the remainder of the 2009 season ($1000 value).

Option #2 --
Pay initiation fees over a 3-year period
Pay $10,000 down and $6,250 by May 1, 2010 and then $6250 by May 1, 2001. Receive 50% off of 2010 and 2011 annual dues (save $4500). Includes 8 free guest passes for 2010 ($680) and the remainder of this season ($1000)

CORPORATE/GROUP MEMBERSHIP (3+ per group)
Initiation Fee: $20,000 per member Annual Dues: $3,500

If your group pays it's initiation fees in full by November 1 of this year, you will pay just $15,000 per member for each initiation fee ($5,000 savings each), this will also include your dues for the 2010 season as well as 8 free guest passes per member. It will also include the remainder of the 2009 golf season. ($1,000).

Option #2 --
Pay initiation fees over a 3-year period
Pay $10,000 per member and $5,000 per member by May 1, 2010 and another $5,000 per member by May 1, 2011. Receive a 50% discount on dues for 2010 and 2011 ($3,500 value). Includes 4 free guest passes in 2010 and 2011, also will include the remainder of the 2009 golf season.

Why True North? Why Now?

Why should you consider becoming a member of True North? There are many intangible reasons for being a member at one of Michigan's finest golf courses, below are just a few of the benefits of Membership:

True North is currently ranked by Golf Digest as the #8 overall golf course in Michigan and is the #1 RATED COURSE WITHIN 2 HOURS OF HARBOR SPRINGS!
PREFERRED TEE TIMES. Although we will continue to allow non-member play in order to supplement our revenue, we will gradually increase the amount of member only tee times as the membership continues to grow. Once we reach 200 members, we plan to be private. Currently, we block off tee times prior to 8:30 a.m. as member only times, once we have between 100-150 members, we will block off times prior to 10:30 a.m. during July and August. We will also reserve 2 "member only" times per hour throughout the day. When we reach 150 members the plan is to allow member only play during July/August on Thursday-Sunday; we will only allow resort play Monday-Wednesday after 10:00 a.m. Once we have surpassed 200 members, we will be private during July and August and allow limited outside play only during the offseason.
True North has the best extended family policy in the industry. All immediate family members and their spouses under the age of 25 are considered full members and included in your annual dues payment. After the age of 25, family members can join for a reduced initiation fee, or continue to play with special guest rates.
Guest fees; your guests may play True North for $60 during the offseason and $85 during the summer. You may send guests and friends to the course and we will extend your guest rate to them even if you are not playing with them.
As a member, you will receive a 20% off of all regularly priced merchandise and 10% off of all food and beverage purchases.
You are eligible for all member events including the Member-Member, Compass Cup Member-Guest, and the Club Championship.
True North is the only Audubon Silver Sanctuary golf course in Michigan.
Compass Room Restaurant is fast becoming one of the top destination restaurants in Northern Michigan.
True North is attracting many great players including two former Michigan Amateur Champions as members.
True North has reciprocal agreements with Oakhurst Country Club in Clarkston, Forest Dunes in Roscommon, and Tullymore in Stanwood. We are also the only club in America to have a reciprocal agreement with Mission Hills Resort in China.

REGULAR MEMBERSHIP

Any person who is 21 years of age or older may apply for a Regular Membership. A Regular Member in good standing shall enjoy the full use of the club facilities subject to the rules of the Club. The Member's spouse and any children (and their spouses) under the age of 25 shall be included as Regular Members. Children and their spouses over the age of 25 will still be eligible to play True North, but will pay the special guest fee. The number of Founding & Regular Members combined will be limited to two hundred-fifty (250)

CORPORATE/GROUP MEMBERSHIPS

Any Corporation or Group of 3 or more Individuals may apply for a Corporate/Group Membership. A Designated Corporate/Group Member in good standing shall enjoy the full use of the club facilities subject to the rules of the Club.

Corporate/Group Membership Initiation: $20,000 per member
Corporate/Group Membership Annual Dues: $3,500 per member
Cart Fees: $25 per player
Member Guest Green Fees: $60 pre/post season -- $85 July/August

SECOND CLUB MEMBERSHIP

Any person who is 21 years of age or older and who belongs to one of the local clubs listed below, may apply for a Second Club Membership. Second Club members in good standing shall enjoy all the benefits of a Regular Mmber for up to 3 years. Second Club Members are limited to 10 members each from the following clubs: Birchwood Farms, Harbor Point, Wequetonsing, Petoskey Bayview, Country Club of Boyne, Bay Harbor, Walloon Lake CC, Hidden River. Second Club Members will pay Annual Dues ($4500) only for up to three years.

TRIAL MEMBERSHIP (1 year only)

Any person who is 21 years of age or older may apply for a Trial Membership. Trial Members in good standing shall enjoy all of the benefits of a Regular Member for up to one season. Trial Members will pay a $1,000 non-refundable deposit (may be used towards the purchase of a Regular Membership after one year) as well as Regular Member Dues ($4,500).

True North Membership Application

All memberships are Non-Equity, however, you may resign your membership and sell it back to True North Golf Club in the future. During the initial membership selling period (150 Active Regular Memberships sold), True North Golf Club reserves the right to sell membership rights to the first 10 applicants applying for membership in any calendar year. After that point, the Club will allow every third (3rd) membership sold to be available for a resigning member. Resigning Members may only sell their membership to True North Golf Club. No direct sales of Membership will be allowed.
